I own now (one of each): Hk690 + remote RIA101 + TU940 + HD710 + manufactured remote cables. I still looking for a casette deck matched with them.
I use them with a pair of little ITT S3-70SW (for TV, mini PC and general sound) with very good results.
For parties I use them with a pair of Cerwin Vega VS-120 (with modified filters , new original surrounds for woofers and Philips silk dome tweeters) + one Orange Bluetooth receiver paired with my phone.
Alternate, I use a pair of Heco Professional P5001 speakers.
I had (and sold) one HK680 (I had both in the same time and I kept the HK690), one HK650 remote and one TU950.
P.S. I hope is not a problem I write in English, I could use Google translate, but I don't trust in it's translate...
